Staff Team
Rev’d Dr. Carl Rudd is our Resident Minister, taking up the post on 26th January 2010. He’s a skier, a scientist, rides a motorbike, and above all brings a caring and listening approach to his Ministry. Welcome to him, his wife Aileen and daughter Lydia!
Liz Pemberton is the Children & Families Worker at St Jo’s, a job she took up in September 2008 after moving from Australia with her family. She describes her passions to include God, music, reading, writing, cuppas with friends, movies, playing with the kids, exploring new places, apple pie and ice-cream! In her role she would love to see God continue to bless the children and family ministry with growth both in numbers (of kids, families and leaders) and in deepening the faith and commitment of those already here!
Joe Watts is the Youth Worker at St Jo’s, a job he took up in September 2008. His hobbies – dangerous or otherwise – include Freerunning, Gymnastics, Football, Skiing, Photography, Film, Art, and chilling with mates. When not learning to speak the local dialect and finding his way to the kitchen, he says the best thing about moving to Wolves is meeting the people here.
Joy Dale and Andrew Evans are the two churchwardens.
Pam Teece and Sue Tilt are both licensed as readers in the parish. De Parrott is pastoral care coordinator. Jo Collins is parish lay-trainer. And Revd Alex Jack is a retired clergyman – after working in the parish in the 1970s and 1980s – who is active in a number of different areas in the church’s life.
The real beauty of St Jo’s – however – is the fact that so many other people get involved in the life of the church. We are all the ministers!
